VIDEO: SecurityDreamer Unconference: Less is more with Sentry 360 megapixel cameras

Hello, David Spark here videoblogging from and for the SecurityDreamer unconference in Atlanta at the Hard Rock Cafe, the night before the ASIS conference.

I spoke with Thomas Carnevale of security camera maker Sentry 360, a sponsor of the event, about their multi-megapixel cameras that range from 1.3 up to 11 megapixels. Carenevale argues you want more megapixels in your camera because "Less is more." Meaning with more resolution and more field of view, you have less cameras to install, purchase, maintain, support, and less cameras for security professionals to review. Also, there are the obvious reasons you want more megapixels. With high quality you can pick out small details like license plates. In addition, Sentry 360 sells a 360 degree camera with no blind spots.
