Honeywell up; UTC/Lenel down
Honeywell’s earnings are stronger than expected, with security product sales growing nicely and the stock up. United Technologies’ shares fell, on the other hand, when CEO George David told investors that profits from Carrier and Sikorsky business unites are suffering. That’s going to put even more pressure on Lenel and the other UTC businesses to pick up the pace.
Lenel sales folks are already under tremendous pressur to hit very ambitious numbers set by the aloof parent company. I wonder what’s going to happen to Lenel’s numbers next year. Does anyone know how many Lenel salespeople’s and executives’ options vest in the first half of 2006?
