Tech Data Adds More Physical Security

Tech Data is adding IP-enabled security devices from 4XEM (IP cameras, video servers, encoders) and Q-See (DVRs, cameras, surveillance kits, and biometric readers).

The new products will be mushed into a pot-luck collection of security product odds and ends, including cameras from Hawking, JVC, Vivotek and Axis, Computar lenses, D-Link enclosures, IPvision software, and S2 access control.

Not exactly the most exhaustive or impressive list of security products, but a sign that the big IT distributors are trying to feel their way around the physical security market – (if somewhat blindly).
